Power of Love - Marriage

 
i speak for myself alone
not for anyone

love and marriage are unique words
representing very different thoughts
that nonetheless talk
speaking tongues even Pentecostals
do not know
because they are the words of Time

eternal thought of what should be


i was there
standing on a pier no longer
alone again
knowing failure's potential
to be an infinite well of life


accepting unconditionally
love
 
that
is Love


such was it
creeping upon me as a tempest
my fever rushing
rampaging


no one understood what all should -
forever is forever

but i do as all do
i do what i want to do
and that is how i got here

Aristotle was correct
man wants what is best for himself

and so does woman


i want what is best for US
